Wyatt Poindexter didn’t plan to go into real estate – yet that’s what he has dedicated his career to. “Honestly, I didn’t choose real estate but my father needed help and I was his assistant,” Wyatt shared.
Today, Wyatt is a real estate broker for Keller Williams Realty Elite and the owner of The Wyatt Poindexter Group and KW Carlton Landing Realty. He has been with Keller Williams for 26 years and specializes in selling Oklahoma luxury homes.
“I love selling homes!” said Wyatt, who lives in Arcadia, Oklahoma, with his family. “I hope to always make the buying/selling process simple and easy for our clients.”
Although he specializes in luxury homes, Wyatt and his team sell homes in all price ranges – and provide the same high level of service to all customers.
“We use the same marketing practices for small, medium and large homes,” he said. “We are known for our marketing, service, reputation and negotiating skills.”
This consistently high level of service is very important to Wyatt, and something he believes sets his team apart.
“Realtors that cut their commissions ultimately cut their customer service,” he said. “Discount real estate services are ultimately ‘discounting’ the client’s needs and sales prices. We offer full-service marketing and don’t offer discounted services.”
“We take pride in our efforts to sell homes and getting top prices for our sellers,” Wyatt said, adding that he stays up to date on his industry by reading real estate websites like Inman and Mansion Global.
Real estate is a very fast-paced field that requires good time management and problem solving, and Wyatt said he is grateful for the support and skills of his team. “There’s always problems but my team is the best at solving issues,” he said. “I’m blessed to have an amazing team that helps with daily activities.”
And when he runs into a particularly challenging obstacle, Wyatt turns to his faith. “I always pray about it and get back on track,” he shared.
